Keep the Music Playing and Join in the First Friday Fun in November and December
Our First Friday Listening Room concert series continues with “Tell Jenny” on November 3 and Georgia Randall on December 1.
Tell Jenny (November 3)
Tell Jenny is a female guitar duo comprised of Wendy Godley and Julie Fogle. Both play in other bands - Wendy with The Kind, and Julie with Flight One. Both ladies sing and play lead, and bring an original interpretation to songs they cover. You can hear a sample of some of their music at Tell Jenny on Facebook.
The Center opens at 5 p.m. with light snacks and a cash bar. The music goes from 6-8 p.m.
Georgia Randall (December 1)
Georgia’s performance is a rich combination of styles and genres that is sure to please live music fans. Her musical origins have deep roots in gospel and blues that came from being a church soloist at an early age. By the age of 15, Georgia had begun her professional career as a front singer and embraced the music of Motown, rock, and the San Francisco sound, later fronting several rock & roll and show bands. Adding guitar and composition to her musical skills, Georgia has since released four albums and is a popular alumnus of the Listening Room.
