Scuffletown is an acoustic duo featuring Marc Carraway on guitar and vocals and John Whitlow on harmonica, accordion, flute and vocals. The band has performed high-energy original and acoustic roots music for over 25 years and has recorded 4 acclaimed albums along the way. On this 2023 tour, they are joined by Matty Metcalfe, an accomplished multiinstrumentalist who has performed with the band for over fifteen years. After successful tours of Ireland and throughout the East Coast, Scuffletown is looking forward to bringing it's unique blend of Appalachian, Blues, Country and Roots music to a wider audience, sharing it's distinctive 'Scufflized' sound with highly interactive and compelling performances.

September Classes

Needle Felting with Cyndi Maitri
Cyndi returns with a series of needle-felting classes that she will personalize to your interest and skill level. Beginners will learn the basic skills of dry felting while creating a piece of framable art, approximately 8x12. More experienced felters can consult with Cyndi on a more complex project, work at their own pace, and receive guidance from Cyndi as they work. Sign up for one or more classes.

September 16 | October 21 | November 18

Introduction to Drawing with Mary Ruff

Anyone interested in a comprehensive introduction to drawing with pencil should arrange to attend this eight-week class with physician and talented artist Mary Ruff. Mary will provide personalized instruction whether you are a beginner or a more experienced artist who wants to strengthen your drawing skills. Classes meet every Saturday from 10 .m. to 12:30 p.m.

Menagerie 2023

Our latest exhibit opened on Friday, August 19, with a reception for the artists and public and runs through Saturday, October 7. Be sure to stop by and see the varied new work by 13 local artists. The styles vary and include acrylic and oil paintings, mixed media, photography, stained glass, and more, like fauxguerreotype—a digital daguerreotype. We’re sure you’ll find something you enjoy. While visiting, be sure to vote for the Peoples’s Choice Award that will be presented after the show closes.
