Join the Creative Club at the Fine Arts Center for FREE Children's Art Activities

The Creative Club at the Fine Arts Center is free and open to children ages 5-12. The club hosts a monthly art workshop for children and some special events throughout the year.

The Fine Arts Center has long offered free art workshops and events for children. We love seeing budding young artists explore different art techniques and create art they can take home or share with others. This year, we’re launching and branding these children’s activities as The Creative Club at the Fine Arts Center.

While we’ve long had classes, creating a club is intended to help give our young artists more of a sense of belonging to the Center and the communities it serves. Our events are often a family affair and routinely include parents, grandparents, and siblings. In a club, its members also help to determine the activities that the club participates in. We look forward to hearing from you and your young artists to help us shape our programs.

If your family is not already a part of the Creative Club, please join us using the simple form on our Classes page. There you can not only register for upcoming classes, but you can use the form to tell us the type of art activities your child or children enjoy. Our first class, Air-dry Pottery in September, came from a suggestion from one of our members.

The Fine Arts Center thanks The C. E. Richardson Benevolent Foundation for funding, in part, education programs at the Center including The Creative Club.
