Red Ribbon Week Art Contest

The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley is supporting the 2020 Red Ribbon Week Art Contest sponsored by the Pulaski Community Partners Coalition

Students enrolled in Pulaski County Schools are eligible for prizes for their art work as part of the 2020 Red Ribbon Week Art Contest sponsored by the Pulaski Community Partners Coalition (PCPC). Art paper will be made available for students at their school or at the Pulaski Library for those students who are participating in online school or home schooling.

Instructions for entering

  1. Your drawing/creation should incorporate this year’s theme of “Be happy. Be brave. Be drug-free.” Just use your imagination and creativity! You can use crayons, colored pencils, paint or whatever art medium works best for your creation.

  2. Entries are not required to be on the paper provided, but must be submitted on paper the same size (12 x 9 inches).

  3. You must also submit the official entry form and be sure to include your name, school, and grade.

  4. All entries must be submitted to your school guidance counselor by Friday, October 30. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded on Monday, November 9.

Prizes

First place per school = $25
Second place per school = $15
Third place per school = $10
Overall Grand Prize = $50

Amazon gift cards will be given as prizes. Entries will be judged by members of the the Fine Arts Center Board of Directors. Winners will be displayed in the Fine Arts Center window and on the websites and Facebook pages of PCPC and the Fine Arts Centers
