First Fridays Listening Room Concert Series 

The 2026-27 First Fridays series is underway! This popular concert series features a variety of performers from within and around the New River Valley on the First Friday of each month beginning in September. Each Listening Room session is free to the public ($5 suggested donations are welcomed) and include light refreshments and a cash bar. These concerts take place in the Edna B. Love Gallery at the Fine Arts Center, located at 21 West Main Street in the Pulaski Historic Commercial District.

Sula’s Front Porch Performs November 6, 2026

Join us Friday, November 6, for an evening with Sula’s Front Porch as our First Friday Listening Room Concert Series continues in the Fine Arts Center’s Edna B. Love Gallery.

The award-winning duo of Aran Garnett-Deakin and Tim Thornton brings together lively fiddle tunes, old-time songs, traditional ballads, and thoughtful interpretations of music by songwriters such as Kate Wolf, Townes Van Zandt, and Sierra Ferrell.

Aran is an old-time fiddler and classical violinist who also plays banjo, guitar, and mandolin. Tim adds guitar, dulcimer, banjo, mandolin, and banjo mandolin to the mix, and both lend their voices to the duo’s sound.
