First Fridays Listening Room Concert Series

The 2024-25 First Fridays series is underway! This popular concert series features a variety of performers from within and around the New River Valley on the First Friday of each month beginning in September. Each Listening Room session is free to the public ($5 suggested donations are welcomed) and include light refreshments and a cash bar. These concerts take place in the Edna B. Love Gallery at the Fine Arts Center, located at 21 West Main Street in the Pulaski Historic Commercial District. We kicked off our 2024 - 2025 series on September 6th with Amelia Empson on guitar and vocals, and special guest, ‘cellist Kaily Schenker.

Our Upcoming October 2024 Listening Room: Ashe Devine

Join us Friday, October 4, for a Listening Room performance by singer/songwriter Ash Devine.

Ash returns to the Listening Room with her unique song stylings with roots in Appalachian music. She is an accomplished songwriter, ukelele and guitar player, and performance artist. You can learn more about her on her website (https://www.ashdevine.net/) and Facebook page.

The Listening Room is held at 21 West Main Street in Pulaski and opens at 5 p.m. with light refreshments and a cash bar serving beer and wine. Music is from 6-8 p.m. There is free parking on the streets in downtown as well as several free lots, including one behind the Pulaski Theatre across the street from the Fine Arts Center.

Please note: We will not host a Listening Room in November. Instead, we are pleased to announce a special pianoforte performance by Daniel Maltz from Vienna, Austria, on Saturday, November 9 at 2 p.m. at the Pulaski Theatre. Tickets are $15 general admission and $10 for students. Please make plans to join us for this special performance.
