Join us this Saturday for a free art event with local artist L.S. King and make your own re"leaf" print!
International award-winning and local NRV artist L.S. King will be at the Center Saturday, July 23, from 10 a.m. to noon to help artists of all ages make their own relief printing using leaves from the Peak Creek ecosystem.
This free workshop is available for artists of all ages. Stop by between 10 a.m. and noon and learn about relief printing with international award-winning and local artist, L.S. King. Feel free to bring your own leaves, but we will have some on hand to use for creating a unique printed art piece.
While you’re there, you can enjoy the current exhibit, Peak Creek: Two Views, featuring the work of L.S. King and Ken Smith. You can also create your own Peak Creek-inspired art and add it to our collection as well as pick up some free swag from the Friends of Peak Creek. Come join us for this fun and informal open house and make some art.
