Georgia Randall is going to rock the First Friday Listening Room. Could you?
Georgia Randall brings her unique song stylings to the First Friday Listening Room on October 7, and we’re looking for additional local musicians to round out the concert series in the spring.
We are so glad to welcome Georgia Randall back to the First Friday Listening Room at Max on Main, this time on October 7. Georgia holds a special place in our hearts, because she reopened the Listening Room last year after a two-year hiatus. You know why. She did this with gracious style, fun stories, and rockin’ good music!
Georgia’s performance is a rich combination of styles and genres that is sure to please live music fans. Her musical origins have deep roots in gospel and blues that came from being a church soloist at an early age. By the age of 15, Georgia had begun her professional career as a front singer and embraced the music of Motown, rock, and the San Francisco sound, later fronting several rock & roll and show bands. Adding guitar and composition to her musical skills, Georgia has since released four albums. Her recent album, Hound Dog, charted on the Roots Music Report Top 50 albums since its release in February 2021. There are few guarantees in life, but one is that we guarantee you will have an enjoyable time at Georgia’s performance.
Max on Main opens at 5 p.m. with an abbreviated menu and drinks. The concert is from 6-8 p.m. The concert is FREE, but please reserve your seats on EventBrite, as seating is limited.
Do you want to perform in the Listening Room?
The Fine Arts Center sponsors the First Friday Listening Room with our partner Max on Main eight months out of the year—September to May, except December. Are you a local performer or performing group that would like to be included in our concert series?
The First Friday Listening Room features local musicians who perform across various genres. The best acts are from one to three performers, especially acoustic music. If you are a local musician or represent a local performing group that would like to be included in future Listening Room concerts, let us know. Local performers can share their interest by contacting us at info@FACNRV.org. Please include links to recordings, preferably live performances, whether through a website, YouTube, Facebook, or other means.
