Join Our Community Art Project and Lend us a Ladder for a Month!

The Fine Arts Center is now accepting ladders for our public art installation in Jackson Park. You can drop your ladder off at the Center during business hours, request a pick-up through our online form, or bring it by Jackson Park May 1-6 between 3-7 p.m. “Last Ladder” celebration is May 6 at 6 p.m.

Local artists Charlie Brouwer and Barry Keller will begin building the ladder structure in Jackson Park on May 1. We’re looking for as man as 200 ladders, so community organizations and individuals are encouraged to lend their ladders for the month. All ladders will be returned in early June, unless you would like us to donate them to a local charity. You can also join us for the placing of “the last ladder,” which will occur around 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 6. Thank you for sharing your ladders for this unique experience!
