The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley is requesting artwork for a new exhibit, Quilts in our World. We invite the public to participate by producing works of art that use quilts as part of the theme. These pieces can be large or small, in a group effort or produced singly. Traditional fabric quilts are very welcome, as are smaller fabric and modern usage of quilted pieces, painted quilts, barn quilts, photographs of quilts, quilts featured or as a part of painting, and any other quilt-related item. Historic quilts are also welcome.
Items must be delivered to the Fine Arts Center, 21 W. Main St, in downtown Pulaski, between September 18 and 20. The exhibit will open on Tuesday, September 26, with a reception and awards ceremony from 2-4 in the afternoon of Sunday, October 8.
