Ernie discovered art at the age of five and has been painting and creating art since. He is a popular teacher and an artist known for acrylics and watercolors on canvases, paper, and other media. He has taught acrylic and watercolor classes for 20 years, including at Judi’s Studio and now at the Fine Arts Center. He also works with veterans, helping them to explore different types of painting.
Ernie has won Best in Show for the professional division at the Pulaski County Fair almost every for about 20 years. He is also a former Scholastic Gold Key winner and has since served as a judge for the Scholastic Art Awards.
