We kick off a new season of the First Friday Listening Rooms with Amelia Empson on guitar and vocals, and special guest, ‘cellist Kaily Schenker.
Amelia is a singer-songwriter who explores her Appalachian roots to influence her acoustic/folk style. She performs often across the New River Valley. Amelia will be joining us in the September First Friday Listening Room with her special guest, Kaily Schenker, on ‘cello. These two talented musicians will provide a great evening of acoustic songs in a mix of styles.
The Listening Room opens at 5 p.m. with light refreshments and a cash bar in the Edna B. Love Gallery at the Fine Arts Center, located at 21 West Main Street in the Pulaski Historic Commercial District. The music begins at 6 p.m. We no longer require reservations. There is free street parking downtown as well as in the lot behind the Pulaski Theatre and in several additional lots downtown. There is a $5 suggested donation. We look forward to seeing you there.
