CYANOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
NOVEMBER 14, 2020 (2:00 - 4:00 pM)

Cyanography is an artistic process invented more than 150 years ago that has seen a resurgence in popularity. It’s now easy for anyone to create these beautiful and ethereal images which can be printed on paper or cloth. This workshop with photographer David Rehor will demonstrate different methods that are now made easy with modern resources. He will show you all the steps you can follow to create a cyanotype that is suitable for framing, sharing, or as a unique gift.

This workshop will be presented online via Zoom webconferencing software. You must have a device (desktop, laptop, tablet, phone, etc.) that supports audio and video to participate. Registrants will be emailed an individualized registration link.

The following materials are necessary for completing this workshop. Items in bold are available in a kit that can be purchased separately.

  • Cyanotype paper (may also be called Sun Print or Nature Print paper) Kit contains five 5x7 pieces of paper and three 8x12 pieces of paper. This paper is very sensitive to light and must be handled in dark or very dim light.
