FAC Director to Speak on Community Foundation Panel (9 AM on Feb. 17 @ Pulaski Train Depot)
The Fine Arts Center’s Executive Director, Becky Lattuca, will be one of four panelists exchanging insights about Leadership Through Change at the Community Foundation’s Third Thursday event.
The Community Foundation of the New River Valley will sponsor its first in-person Third Thursday event in nearly two years, on February 17th at 9 am at the Pulaski Train Depot. The focus of the in-person events held each quarter will have a different topic around leadership.
The first session will be in Pulaski and focus on Leadership Through Change. The Community Foundation is hosting a panel session with members of the nonprofit, business, and government sectors to hear about how they have navigated change and leadership through not only the COVID-19 pandemic but other times when change has occurred. Panelists that will be at this session include:
Dr. Mark Rowh, VP for Workforce Development and External Relations at New River Community College
Adam Fariss, Owner of Iron Heart Winery
Jay Abbott, Director of Operations at Red Sun Farms
Becky Lattuca, Executive Director of Fine Arts Center of the New River Valley
The CFNRV will be providing coffee and fruit at this session. They are asking that everyone in attendance wear a mask regardless of their vaccination status. The sessions will not be recorded, and there will not be a hybrid option. The Community Foundation does offer additional opportunities to interact on Zoom if you are not comfortable at in-person meetings, or cannot make the regional travel work with your schedules.
You must register in advance to participate.
