Two exhibits closing this week: Have you seen them?

This week the “Together We Rise” outdoor exhibit in Jackson Park will be dismantled. Our exhibit in the Edna B. Love Gallery, “Recycled, Repurposed, Reimagined” will also close. Have you voted for your favorite?

Together We Rise

Over the past few months, members of the New River Valley community came together to contribute more than 200 ladders to our outdoor sculpture in Jackson Park, “Together We Rise.” This larger-than-life exhibit is available for viewing through Wednesday, May 31, after which we will deconstruct the structure. If you contributed a ladder and have designated you will pick it up, you can do so from June 3 on at the Fine Arts Center. Thanks to all of the community members who helped make this art exhibit a success!

Recycled, Repurposed, Reimagined

Our current exhibit in the Edna B. Love Gallery at the Fine Arts Center features work by more than 20 local artists who have accepted the challenge to share their sustainable art. The exhibit will close on June 3, but there’s still time to vote for your favorite for the People’s Choice Award. Be sure to stop by and vote!
