Call for Artists and Food Vendors for our Summer Event: Music & Art in Jackson Park

The Fine Arts Center is currently seeking artists and food vendors for Music & Art in Jackson Park to be held Saturday, August 12, from 3-9 p.m. in Historic Downtown Pulaski. The event will feature Nashville recording artist Glen Shelton, local favorites The Reflections Band, along with other performers, great food, and family fun.

The Fine Arts Center has a long tradition of hosting family-friendly music and food events in Jackson Park every summer. After a brief hiatus, we reignited the tradition last year with Rhythm and Ribs and added Art in the Park to showcase talented local artists and give them a chance to sell their work. That event brought more than 1,400 people to Historic Downtown Pulaski throughout the day!

This year’s event continues the tradition of great food, good music, and featuring the work of local artisans and craftspeople, but we’re not limiting the food to just rib vendors. We encourage participation by rib and barbecue vendors as well as others who may dabble in different cuisines. Whether you own a food truck or would like to host in a tented, event space, we invite you to join us for this popular event, now called Music & Art in Jackson Park.

This year’s event will be shorter, from 3-9 p.m. and we are lowering the application fees, especially to encourage newer artists to participate. There is no fee for nonprofit organizations, but space is limited. We are asking that food vendors provide 10 vouchers of the main product being sold to help feed performers and volunteers. Please note: The FACNRV is a 501(c)(3) and does not and can not engage in any lobbying or support any political campaigning, including ay any events it hosts.

Featuring performances by Nashville Recording Artist Glen Shelton, and local favorites, The Reflections Band.
