Call for Artists: NRV Juried Biennial 2025

Artists are encouraged to enter this juried art show presented by the Floyd Center for the Arts, the Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley, and this year coordinated by the Blacksburg Regional Art Association. More than $3,000 will be awarded across multiple categories. Click to learn more!

Artists 18 years or older who live within a 170-mile radius of Blacksburg, Virginia, are invited to apply for the New River Art Juried Biennial 2025.

This year’s juror is Michael Rooks, Wieland Family Senior Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia. Full details follow.

SHOW DATES:  Thursday, June 5 - Saturday, August 23, 2025

WHERE:  Moss Arts Center, 190 Alumni Mall, Blacksburg, VA

SUBMISSIONS OPEN THROUGH CaFE (callforentry.org):  October 8, 2024

ENTRY DEADLINE:  January 8, 2025

ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION:  March 6, 2025

ARTWORK DELIVERY:  May 19 - 22, 2025

PICK UP OF ARTWORKS:  August 25 - 27, 2025

ENTRY FEE:   $40 for up to 3 entries, 1 image per entry

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Artists currently living within a 170-mile radius of the Moss Arts Center are eligible to submit up to three works.
