Fotepianist Daniel Adam Maltz Performs November 9
The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley in partnership with Pulaski Theatre is pleased to present this concert on Saturday, November 9th at 2:00 pm. Taking place at the Pulaski Theatre (14 W. Main St., Pulaski, VA), Daniel Adam Maltz will perform compositions by Mozart, Haydn, and Beethoven on the Viennese fortepiano.
Daniel Adam Maltz brings his expertise in the Viennese sound, culture, philosophies, and performance practices of the Classical era to his interpretations. He is called “master of the Viennese fortepiano” (The Common Reader) and “the foremost performer in the world of the fortepiano” (Aspen Daily News).
He debuted at Carnegie Hall (Weill) at age 22.
Daniel studied fortepiano performance at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Vienna and the Royal Academy of Music in London. He refined his command of historical practices through private study with Andreas Staier and Ingomar Rainer.
