Our open call for POLARITY is still accepting submissions—don’t miss your chance to be part of this dynamic exhibition!

The Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley invites artists to delve into the rich terrain of polarity by examining the dynamic relationships between seemingly incongruous elements. Through this exploration into polarity, artists challenge the notion that opposites must be at odds and instead consider how they might coexist, evolve, and strengthen one another.

We’re looking for artwork that meaningfully engages with the theme of "polarity"—opposites, contrasts, tensions, and harmonies. Any medium, any time period—if your work explores dualities in a compelling way, we want to see it!

POLARITY will be on view at the Fine Arts Center from April 5 - May 31, 2025. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, April 10 from 5-7pm.

Entry Details

• Artists can submit up to three entries.

• $10 per entry or three for $25 for NON-members.

• $5 per entry for Members.

• Entry fees may be paid by cash or check in person at the Fine Arts Center, by check via mail, or through our online shop by 11 p.m. March 15, 2025.

  *Please note that students can become members of the Fine Arts Center for FREE and receive the member discount.
