In this workshop we will focus on the basic skills using a Rigid Heddle Loom. We will create either a scarf or a runner using plain weave.

In this workshop you will learn:
How to warp a rigid heddle loom
Thread the reed
Tie up the loom
Wind the weft onto stick shuttle
Weave plain weave

Everything is provided. You will finish a piece by about 4:00

We suggest you bring a lunch or something to snack on to fit your needs. 

After taking this class, you will be able to practice on the studio looms for a $20 fee. Bring your own yarn. Perfect your skills before purchasing a loom.
