Every year the Community Foundation for the NRV sponsors Giving Day for local nonprofits. There are so many great nonprofits worth supporting in our area. We know you can’t support all of them, but we have a deal for you! The Community Foundation offers a variety of challenges throughout Giving Day program. We are hoping you might consider contributing to the Fine Arts Center during the Giving Day Primetime Power Hour on Wednesday, June 28, between 8-9 p.m. Eastern. The organization with the largest number of unique contributors can earn an extra $750.

That may not sound like a lot, but $750 can result in supplies for several children’s art classes, or can support several First Friday Listening Room performances during the year, or many other ways to support arts programming in our community. If you, your family, your spouse, your friends or others can donate as little as $5 during the Power Hour, we might be the organization with the largest number of contributors.
